A good friend of ours, returning from visiting her son in the US, was just fined $6,000 by the vax minions at Pearson International. She has followed a covid-conscious lifestyle over the past two years and is in very good health. Her offense was to refuse vaccination with an experimental drug that produces a host of nasty-to-lethal side-effects.
As I understand it, over 18,000 persons have been likewise fined at ports across Canada, generating $84 million in revenue for the feds. Even if history does not rhyme, vax and tax surely do.
We are in the process of setting up a defense fund to raise money and consciousness around this blockheaded injustice. If anyone out there has prior experience with this kind of mobilization, including leafleting and sloganeering, we would appreciate hearing from you in the form of a reply at this site.
Some numbers were released just today. It seems that the bark was bigger than the bite--if we believe the source. Allegedly less than 200 persons out of 1.65 million who refused to use the app, were fined:
Alright. "Breach of quarantine" and refusal to use the app are apparently two different things. One could only be fined for not using the app at a port of entry--breaching quarantine would come after entry. The two numbers (unless there are other categories as well) should be added together to get a sense of all those who were fined for not complying with these travel dictates.
“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday […] it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it. [...] The eyeless creature at the other table swallowed it fanatically, passionately, with a furious desire to track down, denounce, and vaporize anyone who should suggest that last week the ration had been thirty grams. Syme, too - in some more double complex way, involving doublethink - Syme, swallowed it. Was he, then, alone in the possession of a memory?”
No sense reinventing the wheel I suppose.
Oh yeah - for all you "tin-foil-hat" inquisitors out there who glibly deride any questioning of the insane transhumanist agenda as so much "conspiracy theory", here you have it - from the horse's mouth so to speak:
"For biotechnology and biomanufacturing to help us achieve our societal goals, the United States needs to invest in foundational scientific capabilities. We need to develop genetic engineering technologies and techniques to be able to write circuitry for cells and predictably program biology in the same way in which we write software and program computers; unlock the power of biological data, including through computing tools and artificial intelligence; and advance the science of scale‑up production while reducing the obstacles for commercialization so that innovative technologies and products can reach markets faster."
Damage done.
Greetings ~

Don't pay it. Contest. The Crown is likely to dismiss it. There is no provision of law. It was all a charade.

According to the Government of Canada bulletin "COVID-19: Summary data about travellers, testing and compliance", under the subhead "Number of fines issued for non-compliance", there was a total of 18,360 fines issued for Quarantine Act offences, from April 14, 2020 to September 16, 2022. This number is broken down into five sub-categories, the lowest of which, "breach of quarantine", records 547 instances. Here is my comment on this piece:
