The WHO's Withdrawal from "Covid"
The organization tries to save face over the disaster caused by its invention, by resorting to pure gaslighting
May 5, 2023, has to be remembered as part of the history of 3/11, but not because anything the World Health Organization says can be taken at face value, as an important or reliable scientific statement. It is the date when the WHO unilaterally announced an end to the particular pandemic whose beginning it had unilaterally announced. Such announcements are political acts. As a body the WHO is an unaccountable, anti-democratic receptacle designed for the deposit of funds from the real powers whose myths the WHO upholds, powers such as Big Pharma, Bill Gates, and the rent-a-states of the transnational capitalist class. The WHO can only claim credit for laying bare the fact that politics commands “science,” and for abusing its authority to help engineer one of the worst man-made disasters in history.
Today the World Health Organization announced an end to its declared “public health emergency of international concern” (i.e., pandemic) the same way a defeated United States announced its withdrawal from Afghanistan. To save face, the WHO engaged in blatant denial, inversion, and deflection—key components of a standard and highly predictable gaslighting strategy. In trying to cover up its crimes, the WHO gave evidence of its crimes.
One means of saving face is to maintain a Hollywood illusion where the WHO remains permanently relevant because pandemics are permanent in the sense that there will always be one. (Note to readers: for several months now I have been analyzing Hollywood productions of epidemic and pandemic movies. So far this exists in scrapbook form in Telegram with numerous clips from movies. By pandemicism I mean the intersection of catastrophism and authoritarianism.) The WHO’s Michael Ryan, executive director of its Health Emergencies Programme, was also an advisor in the production of the movie Contagion (2011), which I called “Event 201 for the masses”. Ryan reminded us that the job of the WHO is to maintain a permanent pandemic state, necessary to justify and maintain the WHO’s existence: “In most cases, pandemics truly end when the next pandemic begins,” Ryan said.
The problem for the WHO is that its announcement is largely redundant and thus irrelevant to most of the damaged world. The announcement comes when most people could not care less to even notice this statement from the WHO, because they are either too busy sifting through the rubble of their lives, or they are too deep into pretending everything is normal again. The bad news is that the WHO is still unaccountable, still funded by Big Pharma, still planning ways of exercising control, and it still exists as a body. The WHO’s statement, on its own, hardly rises to something worthy of comment. Clearly the US decided when it was over, and the WHO simply followed suit a mere four days after the US announced the end to the vax requirement for foreign travellers. The WHO merely confirmed a reality already acknowledged by all:
Last year, U.S. President Joe Biden said the pandemic was over. Like a number of other countries, the world’s biggest economy has begun dismantling its domestic state of emergency for COVID, which officially ends May 11, meaning it will stop paying for vaccines and testing for many people and shift responsibility to the commercial market.
Other regions have taken similar steps. The European Union said in April last year (2022) the emergency phase of the pandemic was over, and the WHO’s African head, Matshidiso Moeti, said in December it was time to move to routine management of COVID across the continent.
The WHO’s declaration comes just four months after China ended its prolonged severe COVID restrictions...
In many parts of the world, testing has dwindled dramatically, and people have largely stopped wearing masks....
Coming late as it did, the WHO risked further eroding its relevance. How would it save the day for itself? With pure gaslighting, with the support of regime media like the New York Times.
The first task was to maintain the original invention, thus statements had to be bound closely to Hollywood-grade pandemicism. In the NYT article, India’s Dr. K. Srinath Reddy “said the end of the emergency status should also be appreciated as a moment of human achievement and a ‘celebration of science’”. He added: “It’s important to recognize that what made the virus change its character is not only evolutionary biology,” he said, “but also the fact that we have induced it to actually become less virulent, by vaccination, by masks, by a number of public health measures.”
A celebration of “the science” that so boldly lies in the face of the public? Where was this doctor during Omicron, which we were told was “ripping,” “roaring,” and “rampaging” precisely among fully vaxxed and masked populations with partial lockdowns and even curfews in effect? Thus the first move is the classically reactionary one of orthodoxies in jeopardy: not only were we right, but now we are more right than ever! Omicron—as even Bill Gates admitted—ensured that everyone achieved acquired immunity. Dr. Reddy thinks the WHO can take credit for what was done by Omicron.
People can try to rewrite history, but can they do it without sounding like their heads are buried up their asses? Apparently not.
Hollywood pandemics demand massive body counts, or they are just not interesting. As if reading out a Hollywood script, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the WHO’s director general, appears in the NYT as follows:
“Globally, there have been 765,222,932 confirmed cases of Covid, including 6,921,614 deaths, reported to the W.H.O. as of May 3. But these figures are a vast undercount of the pandemic’s true toll. “We know the true toll is several times higher, at least 20 million,” Dr. Tedros said.
“Confirmed cases”. And how were they “confirmed”? Using which testing method? PCR tests produced grossly inflated over-counts, only the WHO now turns around and claims they were under-counts. Inversion. Up becomes down.
3/11 was a genocidal act, and the WHO’s Tedros almost admits it, except he blames “Covid” for all of it, because “Covid” is now a policy-maker, legislator, policeman, doctor, nurse, and president too. Tedros also blames critics—deflection.
In Egypt, excess deaths were roughly 12 times as great as the official Covid toll; in Pakistan, the figure was eight times as high. Developing nations bore the brunt of the devastation, with nearly eight million more people than expected dying in lower-middle-income nations by the end of 2021.
“Covid-19 has been so much more than a health crisis: it has caused severe social upheaval,” said Dr. Tedros, describing crippled economies, closed borders, shuttered schools and millions of people suffering in isolation.
“Covid-19 exposed and exacerbated political fault-lines within and between nations,” he said. “It has eroded trust between people, governments and institutions fueled by a torrent of myths and misinformation. It has laid bare the searing inequalities of our world, with the poorest and most vulnerable communities the hardest hit and the last to receive access to vaccines and other tools.”
Thus the ravages wrought by governments and “public health” authorities, are all chalked up to this little virus (which still appears as a computer generated graphic). What Tedros describes is a disaster made by the powerful, with the WHO’s blessings and guidance.
The WHO’s Dr. Van Kerkhove also read the correct lines for sustaining the Hollywood illusion by means of statements of myth:
“We can’t forget the images of the hospital ICUs filled to capacity, the images of medical gloves filled with warm water holding the hands of our loved ones who died, with health care workers who ensured that they didn’t die alone. We can’t forget the fire pyres or the mass graves that were dug”.
A Brazilian physician appointed to speak by the NYT declared: “Take this as an alert, a time to start being prepared for the next pandemic, because we know respiratory viruses are going to increase”.
Have we ever seen such a collection of persons who wish for harm on others? They pray for their next pay day. It’s time they get paid in full.
I like how well you articulate the double dipping.
"Any good must be attributed to our heavy-handed enforcement, but any bad has to solely be blamed on the virus"
It's infuriating.
Today appears to be the day that the deck chairs are being rearranged--Walensky is now out:
